Witteberg Netbal streef na die holistiese ontwikkeling van elke speler. Ons glo dat elke dogter haar volle potensiaal sal bereik deur hard te werk. Ons spog met bekwame, gekwalifiseerde afrigters. Twee van ons afrigters beskik oor ‘n Netbal Suid-Afrika Vlak 2-sertifikaat wat hul in staat stel om nasionale spanne af te rig. Hierdie twee afrigters het ook opgetree as nasionale keurders
vir die Suid-Afrikaanse skolespan. Ons is jaarliks betrokke as afrigters, skeidsregters en spanbestuurders by die “National All Ages Tournament.”
Ons bied jaarliks `n afrigtingsessie aan vir al die spanne wat deur formidabele nasionale afrigters op uitnodiging, touwys gemaak word. Witteberg spog met 15 netbalspanne wat aan ligawedstryde en die Sentrale Skolereeks deelneem.
FACILITIES:
Witteberg boasts 3 beautiful courts, an indoor court and an amazing
clubhouse. We are proud to announce that we have a brand new, first
team locker room. This allows the team to get dressed, have tactical
sessions and team talks.
KONDISIONERING:
Ons het oefensessies in die Sportkondisioneringsentrum waar dogters oefen om hulle ten volle toe te rus vir die seisoen en om beserings te voorkom.
Sessies word gelei deur mnr. DP Coetzee, ‘n gekwalifiseerde
Sportwetenskaplike.
LEAGUE STRUCTURE
Our players have ample opportunity to prove themselves against some of the best netball schools in South Africa. In addition to this we also play in the Central Schools League with all our teams. The following schools participates in this league: Witteberg, Voortrekker, Goudveld, Sentraal, Fichardtpark, Jim Fouche, Diamantveld and Noord Kaap. We travel with the other sporting codes and play friendly matches against other schools as well. We have an annual tour to Affies in Pretoria for all our A-teams during the March holidays. Here we play against prominent schools such as Affies, Garsfontein, Zwartkop, HTS Middelburg, Kempton Park. In the Eastern Free State there are only two schools in the A-league. Games are arranged to make up our league consisting of the following schools, Voortrekker, Afrikaans High School Kroonstad, Hentie Cilliers, Goudveld and Welkom Gimnasium. The winner and runner up of the A-teams goes to the Free State Championships.
